Message from Principal’s Desk

There has been a massive transformation in higher education for the past few years. It is the need of time to go ahead with the emerging trends and pursue the goals set for us. We are supposed to undergo an academic audit of self assessment for a concrete change.

In India, most of the people remain deprived of education because they come from economically weaker sections. Their potentialities for better prospects remain undeveloped. They become socially marginalized only to become a puppet in the hands of destiny. Empowerment is the process that creates power in individuals over their own lives, society and in their communities. People are empowered when they are able to access the opportunities available to them without limitations and restrictions, such as, in education, profession and life-style. Empowerment includes the action of raising the status of women through education. They should be encouraged to take their decisions independently. Our aim is to bring the students on a platform where they may become responsible citizens.

The central and state governments are making consistent efforts in setting up Degree Colleges throughout the state. The vision of our college is summed up by Mahatma Gandhi’s opinion that “character building” is the most importantamong students. He believed basic education is “education for life and through life.”We are tirelessly making efforts to provide qualitative education to the students of Khair, Aligarh.

In 1992 the College was started as an Arts Graduate College and now it has touched new heights by starting M.A. and M.Sc. Classes with 03 Associate Professors, 09 Assistant Professors and 07non-teaching staff. There are, at present, 13 departments under 03 faculties(Arts, Science and Commerce) which are providing Degree and Post-graduate programmes.  The College is still striving on its journey to cope up with the changing educational system of the modern time with high focus on technology and skill-based learning. 

 I am honored and feel privileged to be the Principal of   this College. On behalf of the entire team, I welcome you and assure that the entire environment of the institution is conducive to the students. It allows learners to solve different types of complex problems they face in today’s ever changing and ever evolving globe.
